Tonda, Slávka and the magic light
An exhibition of puppets and set design from the new Czech puppet film directed by Filip Pošivač. The animated film Tonda, Slávka and the Magic Light tells the story of an adventure experienced by two extraordinary children in a mysterious house. Tonda has been shining since birth, while his new neighbour Slávka has a magic torch that reveals worlds full of colour and magic only to the two of them. But it is also a film about their friendship, imagination and courage.
The exhibition at the Chrudim Puppetry Museum will draw (not only) children into the magical world of Tonda and Slavka. It will show scenes from the film, introduce the individual characters and figures and, thanks to interactive game elements, allow visitors to experience the adventures of the two main characters for themselves.
The opening of the exhibition Tonda, Slávka and the Magic Light will take place on 4 October 2024, and the exhibition can be viewed from 5th October 2024 to 11th January 2026.
