Happy Birthday!

The Chrudim Puppetry Museum celebrates its 50th anniversarry with a new exhibition Happy Birthday! It invites visitors to one big party, where the most interesting puppets from the museum's collection act as congratulators. Among the two hundred exhibits from many countries around the world, you will find Jim Henson's famous Muppets, shadow puppets from the Parisian cabaret Le Chat Noir, a baroque mannequin that is one of the oldest preserved puppets in the Czech Republic, puppets from several famous productions of the DRAK Theater. As with the very first exhibition at the museum in 1972, the puppets are arranged freely and without the use of display cases, so you can admire their beauty up close. And maybe you will hear what they are talking about in a friendly conversation. Join them and symbolically celebrate half a century of the Chrudim Puppetry Museum with us!
