"Merry Saturday" will remind folk culture and traditions

For this year, the Chrudim Puppetry Museum, in cooperation with the Vysočina Open Air Museum, prepared a joint project aimed at promoting puppetry and traditional folk culture. Its purpose is to enrich the program for visitors and to introduce each other's activities. The project will start on March 25th, 2023 in the Mydlář house with an event called "Veselá sobota (Merry Saturday)". From 1 to 5 p.m., a creative drawing workshop prepared by the staff of the Vysočina Open Air Museum, awaits both young and old visitors. It will remind them now-forgotten stories that people used to tell each other, get them to know the traditional textile technique called netting and, in a fun quiz, they will go after mysterious objects such as pernice, drhlen, kratiknot or zlodějka, which still hide many old attics today.
