Puppets on the front
A new exhibition on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War and the emergence of the modern Czech state. It represents the phenomenon of Czech puppetry on the battlefields of World War I and in the background. Visitors can see, for example, the unique marionettes of the Italian legionaries, Kopecký brothers, Josef Matyáš Gottlieb's puppets made of Hungarian postal postcards and the replica of Josef Skupa's "revolutionary" Kašpárek. A part of the exhibition is also a railway model of the war Europe, which will present selected events of the First World War in several stops and with the help of a shadow and sound effects.
