Like every year, the founder of the Chrudim Puppetry Museum, the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, opens its gates to the public on Czech National Day. The traditional Open Day will take place on Saturday 28 September 2024 from 10.00 to 17.00 in the Nostic Palace on Maltézské square in the historical centre of Prague. You can look forward to guided tours of the interiors and a rich accompanying programme. In the Nostic Palace you will see the beautiful representative rooms, the office of the Minister of Culture, the palace picture room with many remarkable works of the Old Masters, the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the famous Majorate Nostic Library through a glass window. The ministry's contributory organisations, including our museum, will also have a stand here. And if you don't feel like going to Prague, you can visit our museum for free.
